We’re excited to announce the launch of ISD Online, the Issaquah School District’s new full-time online school, which will open in the fall of 2026! Enrollment will open in the spring.

2026 Renewal Levies

In February of 2026, ISD voters will consider three levy renewal proposals: the Educational Programs & Operations Levy, which represents 16.6% of the district budget; the Capital (Technology and Critical Repairs) Levy; and the Transportation (School Bus) Levy.

Discover Preschool Options at the Issaquah Preschool Fair

Families with young children are invited to the Issaquah Preschool Fair, a free, drop-in event designed to help you explore local preschool options all in one place. Meet local preschool providers, ask questions, and learn about programs that support children from birth through age five all while your child enjoys crafts, playground time, and interactive classroom activities.

The fair takes place on Sunday, February 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Holly Street Early Learning Center (565 NW Holly Street, Issaquah). Families do not need to live within the Issaquah School District to attend.

ISD Online is a full-time virtual high school serving students in grades 9–12 who reside within the Issaquah School District. Our inclusive virtual community empowers students to thrive academically and personally.

Full-Time Online School

  • Students take all online courses for various reasons:
    • Learning Style
    • Medical Reasons
    • Extracurriculars
  • Location: Alternate Learning Experience (ALE) - within school schedule, no cost
  • Term Length: Quarters
  • Credit Maximum: Not applicable
  • Diploma: Graduate of ISD Online School
  • Flexibility: Drop in tutoring/support sessions available at Admin Learning Center
  • Enrollment: Any student who lives in the ISD district

Part-Time Program

  • Students take up to two online courses each semester for various reasons:
    • Acceleration course not offered
    • In-person
    • Credit deficiency
    • Credit recovery
    • Grade Improvement
    • Home-based learning
    • Learning style
    • Medical reasons
    • Private school
  • Location: Within school schedule or in addition to school schedule
  • Term Length: Semesters
  • Credit Maximum: 1.0 credit per semester/8.0 credits total
  • Diploma: Graduate of local high school
  • Enrollment: Any student who attends an ISD middle or high school

Re-engagement Program

  • Students take all courses online for various reasons:
    • Credit Deficiency
    • Medical Reasons
    • Truancy
  • Location: Required in person support sessions at Admin Learning Center
  • Term Length: Quarters
  • Credit Maximum: Not applicable
  • Diploma: Graduate of ISD Online School
  • Enrollment: ISD staff referral only

  • A balance of flexibility and accountability designed for student success
  • Transparent, district-aligned grading and credit policies
  • Full access to ISD extracurricular opportunities (activities, clubs, music, and sports)
